Weeping Wall – Alberta
Although it’s hard to classify this as a waterfall, the Weeping Wall located in Alberta is still one of the coolest cliffsides we have seen in Canada. Within Banff National Park, the 1,000 ft cliffside gives way to several small cascading sections of water that can be seen as though the natural rocks were crying (get those creative juices flowing).

It depends on the season as to how you want to view this amazing wonder. During the late spring to early summer months when the snowmelt is at it’s highest, you can get the greatest views of the Weeping Wall as the water flows down it at a constant rate. Once it dries up, the next period of time is in the winter months when the water freezes and creates an ice cliff for those extreme climbers to enjoy.
Weeping Wall has three main sections the waters flow over with a combined fall of about 1,000 feet. You won’t see any free falling sections, but rather a scenic view of a cliffside crying to the world.
