Located in Ontario, Canada, Turkey Point is the primary camping spot for those who plan on doing a little driving on their vacation. That isn’t to say there aren’t a lot of activities in the area, but many take a short drive outside of some amazing local hikes. Turkey Point Provincial Park is known as the only one with a golf course. It’s not a bad 18 hole course so bring your golf clubs if you need to kill a few hours.

Each campsite is set up for vehicles to pull through. For those driving RVs there are several with electric hookups (both 15 and 30 amps). While you are at the campground you can also enjoy some nice amenities to save you having to travel to town:
– Toilets
– Showers
– Laundry
– Water Taps
If you plan on having a party while camping, Turkey Point does offer some group areas that can host up to 50 people if needed. There are 3 total areas for group camping so please make sure you call ahead to make a reservation. The campsites offer fire pits and picnic tables for your enjoyment and can really help if you plan on having a large cookout.

Some Recommendations
The campground can get a little crowded during summer months. Some people like a little more privacy when tent camping so when you reserve your lot, try to get one on the outer perimeter. The camping areas are typically larger with only trees and wilderness around you.
When you book at Turkey Point Park, your pass is also good for free parking at the beach.
