For those looking to stay close to Edmonton, check out Rainbow Valley Campground. This campsite is the only one within the city limits and offers great views as it winds around Whitemud Creek.
There are 70 campsites to choose from, with about half of them offering power for RVs. Rainbow Valley Campground is also nestled in the woods, giving good seclusion and privacy while you roast marshmallows over your fire. This place can fill up quick due to how close it is to Edmonton so make sure you make a reservation months in advance.
