Hiking Trails at Nojoqui Falls

The main trail is an easy 1-mile loop that takes visitors through the forested area around the falls and has stunning views of both the waterfall and surrounding countryside. There are two other more strenuous hikes available for those who want a challenge. The first is a 3-mile round trip hike up Nojoqui Mountain which provides spectacular views from its peak. The second is a 5 mile loop that traverses some steep terrain but rewards hikers with breathtaking vistas of Santa Ynez Valley below them. All three trails offer something different so there’s sure to be something to suit everyone’s needs when visiting this amazing park!

To get to Nojoqui Falls from Solvang: Map
Start by heading south on Mission Drive. Turn left onto Alisal Road and follow it until you reach Refugio Road. Take a right onto Refugio Road and continue for about 2 miles until you see the entrance sign for Nojoqui Falls Park on your left-hand side.
Follow the signs into the park and park at the designated parking lot near the entrance of Nojoqui Creek Trailhead. From here, take the trailhead down to Nojoqui Creek where you’ll find yourself at the base of gorgeous cascading falls!
