The Jimmy Sims Birding Trail is a network of bird-watching trails located in Alabama. It was created to provide visitors and residents alike with the opportunity to observe and enjoy the state’s diverse avian population. The trail consists of eight sites located throughout the state, including Mobile Bay, Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge, Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge, Little River Canyon National Preserve, Lake Guntersville State Park, Dauphin Island Audubon Sanctuary, Oakmulgee WMA/Lake Howard Nature Preserve and Chickasaw State Park.

Each site offers unique opportunities for birders of all skill levels to view different species that are native or migrate through Alabama each year. The trail also provides educational materials about birds and their habitats as well as interpretive signage at each location to help visitors identify various species they may encounter while out on their birding adventures.
