Another great natural thermal and mineral springs to visit while in Queensland, Australia is the Innot hot springs. As it runs along Nettle Creek, this is one of the hottest springs in the entire country with some sections getting as hot as 167 degrees. Don’t worry as that is only in small sections and you can easily find the perfect temperature for you. If you stay close to the Hot Springs Village you will find much cooler areas to bathe.

Back in the day, water was actually shipped from Innot hot springs all throughout Europe due to it’s natural healing properties. These days tourists flock in from all over to enjoy the rejuvenating and healing properties this Queensland hot springs bring.
Right next to the creek is a village that provides several different pools, all at various temperatures. The park also provides several thermal pools along with accommodations and different campgrounds to stay. This is a little more wilderness when it comes to camping so be sure to bring all the gear you’d need. If you need a little more pampering, there are several hotels in the area with luxury accommodations to choose from.
Millstream Falls

As you tour Innot Hot Springs, be sure to do some of their walking paths as you will get to see quite the wildlife as you go travel through the forest. One of the highlights in the area is Millstream Falls which is the perfect place to take a break and enjoy some breathtaking views.
Innot Hot Springs Camping
There are quite a few areas you can go in or around Innot Springs for camping in the wilderness and under the stars. Innot Hot Springs and Leisure Park is a great location as not only are they pet friendly, but provide power to RVs if you like the glamping lifestyle. They do also provide areas without power and have great setups for tents and campfires.
Location:
When you enter Innot Hot springs you’ll cross a bridge that runs over a creek and make an immediate right turn into their driveway.
Pricing:
Camping here is $40 for power hookps and includes 2 passes to their thermal springs
If you want to be more in the wilderness there is also free camping all along the river. We do recommend having a 4WD vehicle as some spots can be rather difficult to get to without a little clearance. There are plenty of spots to find off the road and many include fire pits right next to the river.
