The Granite Hot Springs area has been used as a spa since at least 1883 when it was first developed by settlers from New York who built log cabins around the springs. Today, visitors can enjoy soaking in one of two pools filled with mineral-rich water that come straight from the underground spring source.
The temperature ranges between 92°F and 96°F depending on how much you stir up the mud below. At Granite Hot Springs, visitors have access to many outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, horseback riding and camping nearby. There are also several trails leading into surrounding mountains which offer stunning views over Yellowstone National Park or Grand Teton National Park. Wildlife sightings are common throughout these areas so be sure to keep your eyes open!

From Jackson, Wyoming
1. Start on US-191 South for 13 miles
2. When you reach the traffic circle, make the exit off the 2nd turnabout onto US-189 South
3. Continue for 11 miles and make a left onto Forest Road
4. Continue on Forest road for 9 miles and make a left to stay on Forest road.
5. Continue until you reach your destination
For those more adventurous people, the winter time allows you to get to the springs by using a snowmobile, cross country skiing, or even dog sledding.
