Frog Fall – British Columbia
As one of our favorite waterfalls to visit in Canada, Frog Falls is one of those destinations where you start to really appreciate the shear force water can have. In fact with how quickly the water moves and cascades over the cliff face, Three Valley Gap set up a hydroelectric facility to help power the entire local community.

There are a few sections that make up Frog Falls. The main area where the water looks like it’s being shot out of a cannon plunges down roughly 80 feet before a quick break and then another 10 feet. In the late spring to early summer months when the snowmelt creates even more water runoff, this waterfall is easily in the top 10 best places to visit in BC.
The second section is only several yards away and also has an impressive flow rate and drop from above. However, it is noticeably calmer and easier to enjoy a cool down on a hot summer day. When it isn’t peak season, Frog Falls still has a good constant flow of cascading waters and the small dam at the top does a good job keeping it consistent for power.
