Details about Franklin Hot Springs
The resort features two pools filled with natural spring water that has been heated to an ideal temperature for relaxation. The first pool at Franklin Hot Springs is known as the “healing pool” as it contains healing properties from its minerals content including sulfur, calcium, magnesium, iron and sodium chloride. This makes the water especially beneficial for people suffering from arthritis or other joint related issues due to its special combination of minerals.
Visitors can also enjoy therapeutic massages provided by experienced masseuses at additional fees. The second pool at Franklin Hot Springs is called the “play pool” which allows visitors to engage in some fun activities like swimming laps or playing games such as volleyball or basketball on their own private court area within the premises of the resort itself! There are also plenty of lounge chairs available around both pools so you can sit back and take a break after your swim session or game session with friends.
In addition to these main attractions, there are several amenities offered by Franklin Hot Springs that make it an ideal place for families looking for quality time together away from home such as picnic tables where meals can be enjoyed outdoors along with BBQ pits if cooking over open fire sounds like more fun than eating out at a restaurant nearby.
Additionally, they have cabins available upon request so guests can stay overnight without having to drive back home late into the night after long days spent enjoying themselves in this beautiful piece of nature right here in California!
There are two main sections to Franklin Hot Springs you can enjoy. The first is a smaller tub section where the natural mineral waters flow up from the earth and flow out of several pipes. The facility raised the pipes so one can stand under them and enjoy a shower like effect. The average temperature of the smaller hot spring pool is 100 degrees. The second section is their Olympic sized pool. The smaller area where the source of the mineral waters sits directly in the larger pool and constantly feeds it fresh new water. It’s slightly cooler due to it’s size and averaging roughly 95 degrees year round.
