If you want to stay near Fairmont Natural Springs, there are some great camping spots, rv campgrounds, and bungalows to enjoy. Camping is quite popular in Canada due to it’s majestic mountains and forests. Near the park you also have access to cabins for a more pampered night which have their own amenities. If you stay in BC for a week and plan on driving around, look for a camping spot to stay at least one night beneath the stars.
The campgrounds are located directly under the Canadian Rocky Mountains and within eyesight of the hot springs. For those wanting to camp there are fire pits, showers, TV, WiFi, and even a laundry area if you plan on staying for a while. All said and done there are 180+ campsites with RV hookups and 130 sites where you can just enjoy the wilderness. During the summer months, Fairmont Hot Springs can fill up so make sure you get there early to find the perfect area for you and your family. If you are unable to find any prime camping spots, Spruce Grove Campground does also offer some tent spots.

When you aren’t soaking in the amazing hot waters, there are plenty of activities to do in the area. You can enjoy 3 local golf courses, horseback riding, white water rafting, fishing, ATVs and hiking during the warmer seasons. In the winter they have a smaller ski resort for those slope enthusiasts. There are also great snowmobiling trails that will take you weeks to navigate all of them.
The community of Fairmont Hot Springs in Canada is a rather small niche community with only about 475 people. However the town and area does fill up with tourists coming to enjoy the hot springs and other activities in the area. Mountain Flowers Restaurant – This place serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner and makes some fine dining cuisine. Many menu items are made from scratch an have a very homestyle way of cooking. It’s family friendly and recommend you call ahead for reservations in order to beat the tourists crowds.
Bears Paw Bar & Grill – Fairmont does also offer a great bar restaurant for those wanting to slam a few back while taking in the views of the Rocky Mountains. With local cocktails and TVs for sports, many people like coming here in the afternoons and evenings to enjoy some good food and live entertainment.
Steamers Cafe – If you are in a hurry then this cafe is for you. They offer some quick bites like sandwiches, pastries, and coffee to get your day started.
