Dania Beach is a charming vacation spot that is situated snuggly on the coast near the center of Fort Lauderdale and the adjacent town of Hollywood. Much like other beaches in the area, Dania Beach is known far and wide for its picturesque clear blue waters and clean white-sand shores.
The town is cut in two by the famous US Highway 1 and offers some nostalgic antique shops and restaurants for visitors to check out.

Activities
Sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, surfing, volleyball, as well as fun for angels on the fishing pier.
The fishing pier is open even at night, and there is a bait and tackle shop located conveniently on-site.
Due to the popularity of this location, parking may be a difficult find.

Amenities
Since Dania Beach is also a beachfront park, you can find almost any amenity you can think of. You can find Tiki huts, outdoor grills, showers, and restrooms.
The area also is jam-packed with tons of dining options, so a quick bite to eat between beach time is only a walk away.

Nearby Attractions
One of the crown jewels of the locations is the nearby Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park. Named after the anti-segregationist leaders, the park offers some of the last undeveloped pieces of beach in the southeast and gives guests access to fantastic fishing, kayaking, and hiking.
Or if you are looking for something tamer, then wander down towards Dania Pointe and explore the wide selection of shops and restaurants in the 1.2-acre shopping plaza.
Fun Facts
Dania Beach is home to Dania Jai Lai, a unique and exhilarating South Florida sport.
The area has been awarded the “Blue Wave” award, meaning it is filled with amazing natural wonders kept up in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.
