Crystal Crane Hot Springs is located in the beautiful desert regions on the southeastern side of Oregon. The site, featuring a mineral-rich and heated pool, is quite popular among travelers for a quick soak, not just during the day, but also at nighttime. Additional cedar bathhouses have been set up on site and can be rented for an hour if you want to enjoy soaking in private.
General Information
Crystal Crane Hot Springs runs down into a large pool, which is rich in minerals. The pond is spread across an area of 9728 feet and contains more than 300,000 gallons of water. With a depth of 7 inches in the central area, the average water temperature is around 101oF or 38oC. The outdoor pond is available for $10 for 4 hours for a single person. Charges for children 12 years of age or younger or for seniors more than 62 years of age are $5 for 4 hours.
Cedar bathhouses have also been constructed on the site for a more private experience. These can accommodate a small number of people and have a proper changing area and towel hooks. Water temperature is adjustable. Each bathhouse is rented for an hour for $15 for a single person.
Clothing is mandatory in the open pool, but optional in the private bathhouses.

If you stay overnight at Crystal Crane Hot Springs in Oregon, you enjoy a number of amenities including 24-hour access to the hot springs pond. These include common rooms, furnished with couches and packed with books and games. Cable TV and wi-fi are also available. A camp kitchen has also been set up with a stove, microwave, fridge and utensils.
There are plenty of additional activities to do in the region other than soaking in the springs. These include birdwatching, Oregon’s wild horses and the Alvord Desert.

What Else Should You Know
• Tuesdays are family day, so the outdoor pond rates are reduced to $5 per person for four hours. If you’re a group of 10 people, then the rates are reduced to $5, regardless of the day of the week.
• Daytime soakers must leave the facilities by 9 pm maximum.
• Children must always be with an adult
• Alcohol isn’t allowed in the pond or the surrounding areas.
