Chewacla Falls is a picturesque waterfall located in Chewacla State Park near Auburn, Alabama. The falls are approximately 25 feet tall and cascade into a large pool at the bottom. Directions to Chewacla Falls
It’s located in Lee County, just outside of Auburn.
1. From Auburn take Highway 280 East toward Opelika/Phenix City for 8 miles.
2. Turn left onto Chewacla Park Road and follow it for 2 miles until you reach the entrance to Chewacla State Park on your right-hand side (there will be signs).
3. At the park entrance, turn right onto Park Drive and follow it for 1 mile until you reach the parking lot for Chewacla Falls on your left-hand side (again there will be signs).
4. Once parked, cross over the bridge at the end of the parking lot to begin your hike down to Chewacla Falls! Enjoy!
