Chelan Falls – Washington
Located in the great state of Washington, Chelan Falls isn’t your typically scenic hike to a location where you can snap some photos of a landmark waterfall. Instead it’s a thrill seekers paradise for those who like to kayak or have a day of fun white water rafting.

Although it’s a rather short river at roughly 4 miles, what makes this such a popular destination is how the water flows from the upper Chelan lake down to the Columbia River. In that short distance the water drop almost 350 feet creating cascading waters and several waterfalls that range from a few foot drop to 20 feet. In order to take advantage of seeing these hidden gems within the park, there is either the option of driving alongside the Chelan river with several picturesque stopping points or heading out for an adventure through guided whitewater rafting tours.
If you aren’t a thrill seeker, the Chelan Falls Park does have roughly 33 acres of hiking paths, picnic areas, and a swimming hole section that tends to be warmer than the flowing river. Many tourists and even locals love spending a day here to get outdoors and reconnect with mother nature. Happy Exploring!
