There is only one main pool here to enjoy a relaxing soak. It has a rustic bathtub vibe and is roughly 15 feet long by 6 feet wide. It can comfortably hold 7-8 people which works great since it’s rarely crowded (good chance nobody will be there). The pool is also pretty shallow at just 3 feet so plan on sitting or lounging to get the full experience.
The hot springs does keep an average temperature of 100 degrees year round and open to the public during the day.
The rustic facility does ask that you pay to use Big Medicine hot springs. It’s not supervised so it’s on the honor system with a little box for you to place money. Locals love coming here as it doesn’t get as much traffic as other places in Montana. 2. Take State Highway 382 towards East North Road (20 miles)
