Directions and Map of Big Bend Hot Springs
1. Start by heading south on US-385 from Marathon, TX for about 70 miles.
2. Turn left onto FM 170 and head west for 21 miles until you reach Presidio, TX.
3. Just before reaching Presidio, turn right onto Farm Road 2627 (also known as the Terlingua Ranch Road).
4. Follow this road southwest for 11 miles until you reach a large cattle guard with an informational sign that reads “Hot Springs” at the intersection of FR 2627 and FR 2810 – this is where your journey begins!
5. Continue straight through the cattle guard and follow FR 2810 westward along the Rio Grande River towards Santa Elena Canyon and Boquillas Crossing for 8 miles until you arrive at Big Bend Hot Springs parking area on your right side (look out for signs!).
6. Once parked up, hike approximately 1 mile north down a gravel road/trail to access Big Bend Hot Springs tucked away behind some trees!
