Located in Mount Robson Provincial Park, one of the most popular tourist destinations is Berg Lake Trail. This hike leads you up for what we believe are the best views of Canada. During the hike there are 7 different campgrounds you can stay at if you like. However, all must be reserved and due to how popular Berg Lake is, you may need to plan your trip a year in advance.

Berg Lake Campground
This is the most popular campground during your hike up the trail. People who stop here for the night quickly become friends as you sit around a campfire and talk about your travels. There is a heritage building that can be used for shelter if the weather changes quickly and even a chalet you can relax in during the day.
British Columbia has some scenic views, but Berg Lake Campground in Mount Robson Provincial Park may top this list. As you set up your tent you will get to enjoy views of Berg Glacier and it’s crystal blue water. There are only 20 campsites available so if you plan on getting a camping spot, make sure to visit Discover Camping to book your reservation. The summer months are the busiest so if you missed it this year, there is always next year.

Please note that most campgrounds in Robson Meadows National Park aren’t really the luxury style you may be accustom too. These camping spots are really just to get a good night sleep and enjoy the hiking trails and scenery. Mount Robson gives tourists the ability to spend a few hours rejuvenating by a campfire and then set out on exploration. That doesn’t mean these campgrounds are bad by any means, but don’t waste your time here when there is so much more you can do.
